The state of Oregon is doing well in this foreclosure crazy day and age. And yes well is a figure of speech. I know that the people in the state that are affected by the crisis would argue the fact that they are doing well. But if you look at the overall condition of the country, you cannot make any other conclusion.

The property available here is almost exclusively in the urban areas like Eugene and the other metro towns where the newer subdivisions have been particularly hard hit and left with a plethora of new and nearly new construction available to the foreclosed property seeker.

The style of homes you will find here will differ greatly from what you will find in other parts of the country. The east coast may offer you a more sophisticated home. The Midwest a stouter construction more able to stand up to the ravages of nature and still look respectable. The homes in the prairies will generally give you that western flair and the hoses of the Northwest are just plain chic in a rustic kind of way. If you’ve ever been there then you know what I am talking about and if not, well you owe it to yourself to check it out. It is a look that is one of a kind.

SO you can be assured that for the most part, any house you buy is going to be unique in and of its self and will stand out against the others. Even in the traditional subdivisions where cookie cutter is the order of the day, the houses seem to strive to be unique and different.

This all adds up to a market where you are going to get a good value for your dollar and end up with a property that should not be all that difficult to unload when it is time for you to reap your rewards and move on.
